Who can use this feature?

System Administrator | Owner

Add a Facility

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Select s and on the Content tab, select FacilitiesModules menu with Facilities selected.

  3. Click Add CategoryAdd category button.

  4. Fill in the information fields New facility category information fields.

    • Name (required): Create a name for your category

    • Template: Select a template, if needed

    • Show Directions: Show directions on Google, Yahoo, and/or Bing

    • Permissions: Set permissions at the category level (recommended)

      • View: May view the live side only

      • Author: Submit new items, modify unpublished items

      • Publisher: Publish new items, modify unpublished items, modify published items, accept/reject submitted items

      • Owner: Publish new items, modify/delete unpublished items, modify/delete published items, accept/reject submitted items, create/modify sub-categories, assign category permissions

  5. Select a save option Save or save and publish buttons.

    • Save: Will save the work as an unpublished draft

    • Save & Submit: Will save the work as an unpublished draft and notify a publisher/owner/system administrator that it is ready for review (Viewable by Authors only)

    • Save & Publish: Will save the work and publish it for viewing

Modify a Facility Category

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to s and on the Content tab, select FacilitiesModules menu with Facilities selected.

  3. Select your desired category A Facilities category in the All Categories column.

  4. Click the Actions button Category Actions button.

  5. Select Modify Modify button.

  6. Make the necessary edits Facility category information fields.

    • Name: Edit the name of the category

    • Template: Controls the design that will appear for items associated with this category

      Note: If one is not selected, the default site design will be used.

    • Show Directions: Choose to show third-party directions for your facility

    • Permissions: Edit permissions

      • View: View the live side only

      • Author: Submit new items, modify unpublished items

      • Publisher: Publish new items, modify/delete unpublished items, modify published items, accept/reject submitted items

      • Owner: Automatically has rights to all of the above, as well as creating/modifying categories, and setting category permissions

  7. Select Save ChangesSave Changes button.

Delete a Category in Facilities

Important Note:

Before you can delete a category, you must delete all the facilities within the category.

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to s and on the Content tab, select FacilitiesModules menu with Facilities selected.

  3. Check the box next to the category that you want to delete A Category checkbox toggle.

    Note:

    The category must have zero facilities and sub-facilities.

  4. Expand Bulk ActionsBulk actions button.

  5. Click DeleteDelete button.

  6. Respond OK on the pop-up that asks Are you sure you want to delete the selected categories?OK button in the confirmation pop up.
