This article will show you how to add, modify, or remove Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).

Add an FAQ Item

Who can use this feature?

System Administrator | Owner | Publisher | Author

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Select Modules and on the Content tab, select FAQsWeb Central Modules menu with FAQs selected.

  3. Select Choose an Action and click Add Item next to the category you want to add the FAQs to Add Item option in drop-down.

  4. Fill in the information fields FAQ item fields.

    • Question: Enter the question for the item

    • Answer: Enter the answer to the question

      Note:

      Remember to answer your question as completely as possible. Include a phone number, email address, or website address if possible.

    • Additional Details Additional Details fields.

      • Web Address: Website you would like to include with your answer

      • Display Text: Word that will be clickable to go to the website you chose for the Web Address field

      • Open in New Window: Check this box to open the site in a new window

      • Starting On: Date you would like this FAQ to display on the public side

      • Stopping On: Date you would this FAQ to unpublish itself from the public side

      • Show Archives: Leave this set to the default setting

  5. Click Save and Publish at the top of the page Save and Publish button.

Edit an FAQ Item

Who can use this feature?

System Administrator | Owner | Publisher

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Select Modules and on the Content tab, select FAQsModules menu with FAQs selected.

  3. Select the category that the item is in FAQs category.

  4. Find the item you would like to edit and select Choose an Action and then ModifyModify option in actions menu.

  5. Modify the information fields FAQ item fields.

    • Question: Enter the question for that category

    • Answer: Enter the answer to the question. Remember to answer your question as completely as possible. Include a phone number, email address, or website address if possible.

    • Show Additional Details

      • Web Address: Website you would like to include with your answer

      • Display Text: Word that will be clickable to go to the website you chose for the Web Address field

      • Open in New Window: Check this box to open the site in a new window

      • Starting On: Date you would like this FAQ to display on the public side

      • Stopping On: Date you would this FAQ to unpublish itself from the public side

      • Show Archives: Leave this set to the default setting

  6. Select SaveSave button.

Delete an FAQ Item

Who can use this feature?

System Administrator | Owner

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Select Modules and on the Content tab, select FAQsModules menu with FAQs selected.

  3. Select the category that contains the item you would like to delete FAQs Category.

  4. Select Choose an Action and then Unpublish next to the item that you want to deleteUnpublish option in actions menu.

  5. Find the item under the Unpublished section, select Choose an Action, and then Delete Delete draft item.

  6. Select OK from the pop-up asking, Are you sure you want to delete this item? Ok button on confirmation pop-up.
