Close a Request (New CRT)

This article will show you how to close a request in the new Citizen RequestTracker (CRT).

Important Note:

All sales after July 1, 2020 will have this new version of the CRTâ„¢. If your contract started before this date, please view the information for the original CRT package.

Who can use this feature?

System Administrators | Owners | Publishers | Authors

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Modules > Content > RequestTrackerModules menu, content tab, with RequestTracker selected.

  2. Select the Request Type that has the request you need to close Select a request type.

  3. Click Actions next to the Request you want to close Actions button.

  4. Select CloseRequest actions menu, close

  5. A pop-up will appear to allow for comments; if desired, add a comment Add a comment text box.

  6. Click Save, even if you do not want to add a comment Comment pop-up save button.

  7. Reply OK to the pop-up that says Closing a request means no further comments may be addedconfirm close request pop-up, okay button

  8. A new pop-up will appear; reply OK or Cancel to the pop-up that asks Do you want to send an email for this action?Send an email pop-up, okay or cancel buttons

    • OK: Sends an email

    • Cancel: Prevents an email from being sent to the submitter and CC Email List
