Edit Existing Default Messages

This article will show you how to edit your existing default Welcome, Header, and messages in Notify Me®.

Who can use this feature?

System Administrators | Owners

Important Note:

This process only applies to Default Messages that are in place in Subscriber Lists that you have already created. If you need to edit Default Messages for future lists, see our article Edit the Default Welcome, Header, and Footer Messages.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Modules. Click on Content, then Notify Menavigate to notify me

  3. Select Choose an Action, then Properties next to the Subscriber Lists you want to edit choose an action properties

  4. Select the Default Messages tab Default Messages Tab

  5. Edit the Welcome Message, Header, and/or Footer edit existing default messages fill in fields 1 edit existing default messages fill in fields edit existing default messages fill in fields edit existing default messages fill in fields

    • Subscriber Welcome Message: The Message a new subscriber will receive to confirm their subscription to a mailing list

    • List Header: Header of every message

    • List Footer: Footer of every message

      Note:

      Make sure to Copy HTML to Text or vice versa.

  6. Select Save at the top of the page save default messages
