Edit the Default Registration Form

This article will show you how to edit the Default Registration Form for the Activities module.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Modules and on the Content tab, select Activities:

  3. Select the Properties tab:The back-end of the Activities module with the Properties tab highlighted.

  4. Navigate to the Default Registration Form:The Activities module back-end on the Properties tab with the Default Registration Form button highlighted.

  5. Drag-and-drop Field Types onto the form:The Default Registration Form of the Activities module with a new field being drag-and-dropped into the field area.

    • Field Types

      • Short Answer: Will allow for a short answer (Character limit of 999 characters)

      • Long Answer: Will allow for a long answer (Character limit of 9,999 characters)

      • Dropdown: Will allow you to add an unlimited drop-down options to choose from

      • Checkboxes: Will allow you to add an unlimited checkbox options to choose from

      • Radio Buttons: Will allow you to add unlimited radio button options to choose from

      • Section Break: Will add a section break to the form

      • Reply Email: Will allow a reply email to be entered

      • Page Break: Will add a page break to separate the form

      • Date/Time: Will allow a date/time on the form

      • File Upload: Will allow files to be uploaded

      • Image: Will allow an image to be added

      • Link: Will allow the addition of a link

      • Text: Will allow for a text section

        Note:

        If you add a Field Type, you will need to configure its properties, which vary by type. The first four form rows cannot be removed or modified. Drag additional fields below this area.

        For multiple reasons, it's best not to create fields with the same names as these. If any fields that you create match any of the top fields' names and identically named fields are selected to export, this will cause the "Export Roster" function to go to a string error.

        The first four form rows are: First Name/Last Name, Email Address/Phone Number, Participant is the same as above (checkbox selection), Participant First Name/Participant Last Name.

    • Field Sets: Will display existing field sets
