This article will show you how to Export results in the History Log, which will download a copy of your desired results to your computer.

System Administrator | Owner | Publisher | Author
Instructions
Navigate to the History Log module:
Click the Modules dropdown menu
Click the Site Tools tab
Select History Log
If desired, apply filters to narrow your results:
Note: Review the Filter History Log Results article for more information on the filter options.
Click the Export button:
The TXT file downloads automatically in Google Chrome:
If another web browser is used, the download process may look different
Note: The TXT file is named HistoryLog.txt.
Navigate to the location the file is saved to on your computer
Open the file
Note: By default, the TXT opens in Notepad's text editor. If you do not have Notepad, you can import the TXT file to Microsoft Excel to open the file.
View the results:
Module Name: The module the entry belongs to
Title/Item: The name of the item
Date Modified: The date and time the action happened
Modified By: The name of the person who performed the action
Action: The action taken
Parent ID Type: The location where the action took place
Parent ID Number: The numerical ID of the location where the action took place
Item ID Type: The type of item that was acted upon, such as a document, question, folder, or category
Item ID Number: The numerical ID of the item
