Form Center Properties

This article will show you all the properties in the Form Center module.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Modules, and on the Content tab, select Form Center:

  3. Select the Properties tab:The Form Center module with the Properties tab highlighted.

  4. Navigate through the properties:The Form Center on the Properties tab, with various fields and toggles displayed.

    • Module Name (required): Edit the module name. The default is Form Center.

    • Header Text: Enter header text

      • Refresh Preview: Click this button to see what it will look like on the front end

    • Footer Text: Enter footer text

      • Refresh Preview: Click this button to see what it will look like on the front end

    • Public Name: Enter a name that will be publicly displayed for this module (The default is Form Center)

    • Default Email Address: Forms will be submitted to this address unless otherwise specified

    • External Integration: Password and External Integration fields will be available to users

    • Include Submission ID in Email Subject: Check to include the ID in the email subject line

    • Expiration Warning Hours (required): Number of hours to give a warning before an item in the module expires

      Note:

      The default is 48 hours. Do not set it to a negative number or zero.

    • Send Notification Emails: Choose not to send emails, send emails about expiring items, send submittal emails, or send submittal and expiring emails

    • Show IP Address: The IP address will show on the submitted data screen

    • Show Referrer Page: The referrer page will show on the submitted data screen

    • Force Login: Users must log in to submit a form

    • Show Name of Submitter: The name of the person will show on the submitted data screen if they are logged in

    • Show on My Dashboard: Allow Form Center to display information on My Dashboard

    • Confirmation Page Content: Enter text and content for the module-wide confirmation page

      Note:

      By default, forms will use the category-level confirmation page for submissions.

  5. Click Save Changes:The Form Center module on the Properties tab with the Save Changes button highlighted.
