Add & Manage Videos

Upload a Video

1. Sign in to your CivicPlus Video site

   Note:

   For Web Central customers, navigate to the Modules menu and on the Content tab, select CivicPlus Video. You will be automatically signed in with your credentials.
   

2. On the Videos tab, select the Upload Video button
   

3. Drag and drop your video file into the box
   

4. Edit the video fields, as needed
   

   • Title: Enter the title of the video

   • Description (Optional): Add an optional description of the video

   • Channel: Select a channel from the drop-down

5. Click Upload Video
   

6. A success message will display when your video is uploaded
   

7. Once uploaded, you can publish or edit the video

Publish or Unpublish a Video

1. Sign in to your CivicPlus Video site

   Note:

   For Web Central customers, navigate to the Modules menu and on the Content tab, select CivicPlus Video. You will be automatically signed in with your credentials.
   

2. Find the applicable video and click the three-dot action menu, and then Publish or Unpublish
   

Edit a Video

1. Sign in to your CivicPlus Video site

   Note:

   For Web Central customers, navigate to the Modules menu and on the Content tab, select CivicPlus Video. You will be automatically signed in with your credentials.
   

2. Find the applicable video and click the three-dot action menu, and then Edit
   

3. Update the video details, as needed
   

   • Name: Edit the public-facing name of the video

   • Description: Add an optional, short description of the video content

   • Thumbnail: Remove and/or add a thumbnail for the video that will display when the video is not playing

4. Click Save Changes
