Message Defaults

This article will show you how to edit message defaults.

Who can use this feature?

System Administrators | Owners

Important Note:

These changes affect only mailing lists created after the changes are made. You must manually update existing mailing lists in their properties.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site.

  2. Navigate to Modules. Click on Content, and then Alert Center:

  3. Click the Message Defaults button:

  4. Edit the messages as needed:

    • Subscriber Welcome Message: The Message a new subscriber will receive to confirm their subscription to a mailing list

      • Text Subscriber Welcome Message:

        • This Email is in response to a subscription request. You have just subscribed to the following list:<>This is in addition to any other lists to which you may have previously subscribed. If these list subscriptions are incorrect, you can modify or cancel them by visiting:https://<>/List.aspx?Mode=Manage&Email=<> Thank you for your interest!
    • List Header: Header of every message

    • List Footer: Footer of every message

      Note:

      Click the Copy HTML to Text button to copy the HTML content into the corresponding plain text field and remove the HTML formatting.

  5. Locate and click the Save Changes button:
