Post to Facebook from CivicSend

In order to post to Facebook, you must have a page associated with your account. If you do not have a Facebook page, you can create one by following the instructions provided by Facebook.

Important Note:

CivicSend does not currently support Meta Business Suite accounts.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Modules, Content, and select CivicSend:CivicPlus Municipal Websites Central interface showing navigation from modules to content to CivicSend.

  3. Send a Message

  4. Ensure that you select Facebook as one of your Channels The New Message tab of the CivicSend module with the Facebook channel highlighted.

  5. A sign-in pop-up window will appear; click Sign In with Facebook:The Account Selection pop-up window on the CivicSend New Message tab, with the Sign in With Facebook button highlighted.

  6. Enter your Facebook credentials (Email or Mobile Number and Password):The Facebook sign-in dialog window with the Email or Mobile Number field and the Password field highlighted.

  7. Click Log In:The Facebook sign-in dialog window with the Log In button highlighted.

  8. Continue with the message creation as usual
