Send a Message to a Subscriber List

This article will show you how to send a message to a subscriber list in Calendars.

Who can use this feature?

System Administrator | Owner | Publisher

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Modules and on the Content tab, select CalendarModules menu with Calendar selected.

  3. Click Go To Email ListsGo To Email Lists button.

  4. Select your desired calendar list Published Calendar List.

  5. Click Add ItemAdd Item button.

  6. Fill out the information fields Create a Message's information fields.

    • Date to Send: Enter the date to send in [mm/dd/yyyy] format

      Note:

      Blank field will send the email immediately.

    • Time to Send: Enter the exact time in [hh:mm] [am/pm] format

    • Sender Name: Enter the sender name. This field will default with the category name.

    • Reply Address: Enter a reply address. This field will default to [email protected].

    • Email Subject: Enter a subject/heading

    • Show Archives: Choose to show archives

      Note:

      Keep as default (No).

    • HTML Message: Enter your message as HTML code

      • Copy HTML To Text: Click this button to format the message into plain text

    • Plain Text: Enter plain text

    • Mobile Text/Push Message: Enter a message for SMS/Text Message (There is a 160-character limit.)

  7. Scroll up and select a saving option Save options.

    • Save: Will save your message as a draft and not send it, even if the send date is in the future

    • Save and Send: Saves changes and sends your message according to its send date
