Add a Facility

Sign in to your site
Select {{glossary.Module}}s and on the Content tab, select Facilities
Click Add Category
Fill in the information fields
- Name (required): Create a name for your category
- Template: Select a template, if needed
- Show Directions: Show directions on Google, Yahoo, and/or Bing
- Permissions: Set permissions at the category level (recommended)
  - View: May view the live side only
  - Author: Submit new items, modify unpublished items
  - Publisher: Publish new items, modify unpublished items, modify published items, accept/reject submitted items
  - Owner: Publish new items, modify/delete unpublished items, modify/delete published items, accept/reject submitted items, create/modify sub-categories, assign category permissions
Select a save option
- Save: Will save the work as an unpublished draft
- Save & Submit: Will save the work as an unpublished draft and notify a publisher/owner/system administrator that it is ready for review (Viewable by Authors only)
- Save & Publish: Will save the work and publish it for viewing

Modify a Facility Category

Sign in to your site
Navigate to {{glossary.Module}}s and on the Content tab, select Facilities
Select your desired category
Click the Actions button
Select Modify
Make the necessary edits
- Name: Edit the name of the category
- Template: Controls the design that will appear for items associated with this category
  Note: If one is not selected, the default site design will be used.
- Show Directions: Choose to show third-party directions for your facility
- Permissions: Edit permissions
  - View: View the live side only
  - Author: Submit new items, modify unpublished items
  - Publisher: Publish new items, modify/delete unpublished items, modify published items, accept/reject submitted items
  - Owner: Automatically has rights to all of the above, as well as creating/modifying categories, and setting category permissions
Select Save Changes

Important Note:
Before you can delete a category, you must delete all the facilities within the category.

Sign in to your site
Navigate to {{glossary.Module}}s and on the Content tab, select Facilities
Check the box next to the category that you want to delete
Note:
The category must have zero facilities and sub-facilities.
Expand Bulk Actions
Click Delete
Respond OK on the pop-up that asks Are you sure you want to delete the selected categories?
