Use Live Chat

This article will show you how to use the Live Chat feature in Web Central. Our Support staff is ready to answer your questions and help you successfully use your site. You can also fill out a form to Contact Support.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Select the chat bubble in the bottom corner:The clickable Chat Bubble icon to open a Live Chat window with our support tools.

  3. Select the option for what type of help you're looking for:The CivicPlus Technical Support Live Chat window with support options highlighted.

    • How To / Tutorial: Select to find a Help Center article for a topic

    • Issue / Not Working: Select if you need to report a bug or issue on your site

    • Feature Request: Select to submit an idea for an enhancement to the system

  4. If you selected How To / Tutorial:

    1. Type in your Message

    2. Select the most applicable Help Center articleThe Live Chat window with a suggested article's 'View Article' button highlighted.

  5. If you selected Issue / Not Working:

    1. Fill out the information to create a ticket:The Live Chat window after selecting Issue / Not Working, with the 'Name' field highlighted.

    2. Click Send:The Live Chat window with information fields completed and the Send button highlighted.

  6. At any time, you can type "Start over" to restart the conversation
