Create and Manage Bids or Request For Proposal

Create a Bid or RFP

  1. Expand Create Other The button labeled Create Other with a plus sign.

  2. Click Create Bid/RFPThe button labeled Create Bid slash R F P.

  3. Title the page The text entry field labeled Title.

  4. Select the appropriate Microsite The dropdown menu labeled Microsite.

  5. Complete the remaining Basic Information fields, if desired

  6. Select the Bids and RFP Information tab The left-hand navigation tab labeled Bids and R F P Information.

  7. Set the Bid/RFP Status to Open The dropdown menu labeled Bid slash R F P Status.

  8. Complete the remaining Bids and RFP Information fields, if desired

  9. Add additional content, if desired

  10. Complete the Publishing options

  11. Click Save

Edit a Bid or RFP

  1. Navigate to the desired page

  2. Click Edit

  3. Make the necessary edits

  4. Publish the Bid or RFP

  5. Click Save

Copy a Bid or RFP

  1. Navigate to the desired page

  2. Click Clone

  3. Make any edits as necessary

  4. Publish or unpublish the page as desired

  5. Click Save

Publish or Unpublish a Bid or RFP

  1. Navigate to the desired page

  2. Click Edit

  3. Select the Publishing tab The left-hand navigation tab labeled Publishing.

  4. Complete the Publishing options The Published toggle, Unpublish on fields, and Publish on fields.

    • Published: Check or uncheck the box to publish or unpublish, respectively

    • Publish On: Manually select or type a date and time to publish the event at a later date The calendar icon in the Publish on field, and the selected date in the calendar menu.

    • Unpublish On: Manually select or type a date and time to automatically unpublish the event The calendar icon in the Unpublish on field, and the selected date in the calendar menu.

  5. Click Save

Award a Bid or RFP

  1. Navigate to the desired page

  2. Click Edit

  3. Select the Bids & RFP Information tab The left-hand navigation tab labeled Bids and R F P Information.

  4. Set the Bid/RFP Status to Awarded The option labeled Awarded in the Bid slash R F P Status dropdown.

  5. Fill in the Bid/RFP Awarded To field The Bid slash R F P Awarded To Text Entry Field.

  6. Ensure that the Bid/RFP is published

  7. Click Save

Delete a Bid or RFP

Important Note:

Only Site Admins can perform this function. This action cannot be undone, and the page cannot be recovered. It is recommended that the page be unpublished rather than deleted.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to the desired page

  2. Click Delete

  3. Click Delete to confirm deletion

    Note:

    This action cannot be undone.

Basic Information Fields

The text entry fields and dropdown menus in the Basic Information Fields

  • Title: Enter the title for the Bid or RFP

  • Microsite: Select the appropriate microsite

  • Summary: Enter a summary of the Event

    Note:

    This field is only available by clicking Edit Summary
    The URL labeled Edit Summary.

  • Body: Create the body of the Bid or RFP

  • Short Description: Enter a brief description to appear in search results both on the site and in other search engines such as Google

Bids and RFP Information Fields

The dropdowns and text entry fields in the Bids and R F P Information Fields.

  • Bid/RFP Status: Select the appropriate bid status

    • Open: The bid is currently open for bids

    • Closed: The bid is not accepting new bids

    • Awarded: The bid has been awarded

    • Canceled: The bid has been canceled

  • Bid/RFP Reference Number: This optional field will be listed on the Bid or RFP itself, but will not be listed on the comprehensive Bids and RFPs page.

  • Bid/RFP Due Date: Assign the date by which submissions are due

    Note:

    Once a bid or RFP is past its due date, it will automatically be set to a status of closed.

  • Bid/RFP Awarded To: Disclose to whom the Bid/RFP has been awarded if desired.

    Note:

    This information will show up on the Bid or RFP itself.
