Create and Manage Directory Listings

Create a Directory Listing

  1. Expand Create Other The button labeled Create Other with a plus sign icon.

  2. Click Create Directory Listing The URL link labeled Create Directory Listing.

  3. Complete the Contact Information fields

  4. Select the Profile tab The tab labeled Profile in the left-hand navigation menu.

  5. Complete the individual's profile

  6. Add additional content as desired

  7. Publish the Listing

  8. Click Save

Edit a Directory Listing

  1. Navigate to the Directory Listing page

  2. Click Edit

  3. Edit the Contact Information Fields as necessary

  4. Edit additional content as necessary

  5. Select the Advanced tab The tab labeled Advanced in the left hand navigation menu.

  6. Detail any edits made in the Revision log The text entry field labeled Revision log message.

  7. Publish the Directory Listing

  8. Click Save

Copy a Directory Listing

  1. Navigate to the desired page

  2. Click Clone

  3. Edit the listing as necessary

  4. Publish the page, if desired

  5. Click Save

View Directory Listing Revisions

  1. Navigate to the desired page

  2. Click Revisions

  3. View the list of previous revisions

Revert a Directory Listings Page

  1. View Directory Listing Revisions

  2. Select Revert to revert the Event page to a previous version

  3. Select Revert to confirm the revision

Publish or Unpublish a Directory Listing

  1. Navigate to the desired page

  2. Click Edit

  3. Select the Publishing tab The tab labeled Publishing in the left-hand navigation menu.

  4. Complete the Publishing options The Published check box, Publish on, and Unpublish on fields.

    • Published: Check or uncheck the box to publish or unpublish, respectively

    • Publish On: Select a date and time to publish the event at a later date

    • Unpublish On: Select a date and time to automatically unpublish the event

  5. Click Save

Delete a Directory Listing Page

Important Note:

Only Site Admins can perform this function. This action cannot be undone, and the page cannot be recovered. It is recommended that a page be unpublished rather than deleted.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to the desired page

  2. Click Delete

  3. Click Delete to confirm deletion

    Note:

    This action cannot be undone

Contact Information Fields

The text entry fields in the Contact Information tab.

  • First Name: The individual's first name

  • Last Name: The individual's last name

  • Microsite: Select the appropriate microsite for this Directory Listing

  • Position: Enter the individual's official position or job title

  • Email: Enter the individual's email address

  • Phone Number: Enter the individual's business number

  • Fax Number: Enter the individual's business fax number

  • Office Hours: Enter the individual's office hours

  • Weight: Set the weight for the Directory Listing

    Note:

    Directory Listings with lower weights are displayed before listings with higher weights

  • Directory Listing Custom Groups: Create a custom group that this directory listing would fall under.

    You can quickly reference groups of category listings throughout your website by using the Sections feature under More
