Time Tracking Report

This report can be useful to agencies that are interested in seeing an aggregated total of time spent on requests by NextRequest users. In turn, you can use a report in performance reviews or in budget analysis.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your account

  2. Navigate to the Admin header and click Reports in the drop-down Reports menu.

  3. Select the Time Tracking button Time tracking button.

  4. Choose whether you want to run a report for All Time or a Custom Date range Report date options.

  5. Select a Report TypeReport type options.

    • Total time by department: Filter the report by department name.

      Note: Staff time logged on a request assigned to a specific department will only be reflected in this total if the department has also been selected in the dropdown when a user logs their time. View step 5 on the Log Hours article for instructions.

    • Total time by staff member: Filter the report by staff a member's name

    • Total time by request by staff member: Filter the report by requests and staff member

    • All time entries: Include all entries in the report

  6. Click GenerateGenerate button.

  7. The report will download to your device
