Edit an Existing Reservation

This article will show you how to edit an existing reservation.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Facilities > CalendarFacilities and calendar options.

  2. Apply filters Apply filters.

  3. Select a reservation Select reservation.

  4. Select Edit Reservation in the pop-up window Edit reservation option.

    Note:

    If you edit a reservation that’s part of a recurring series, that instance will detach from the group. It will become a separate, standalone reservation.

  5. Make necessary edits Edit reservation fields.

    • Facility/Rate Type: Select which facilities are to be reserved and the corresponding Rate Type

    • For Activity: Associate the reservation with an activity

    • Assigned User: Select and assign a user account for the reservation

    • Date & Times: Select the dates and times of the reservation(s)

    • Notes: Enter any additional comments

    • Status: Select a Reservation Status Type

      Note:

      You can only add the Reservation Status Type in the Calendar view. You do not have the option to add a Reservation Status Type when creating a facility reservation from the Catalog view. Also, this cannot be automatically applied or set as a default to a certain type of reservation status or to public reservations.

    • Conflicting Reservations: Select an option for handling conflicting reservations on the calendar

      • Don't allow: Choose this option if you want to block reservations that conflict with existing ones. If selected, users won’t be able to book over a conflict.

      • Skip conflicting reservations: Dates with conflicts will not be booked. Only the dates without conflicts will be reserved.

      • Override conflicting reservations: Select this option to reserve the dates, even if there are conflicts with other reservations.

  6. Select SaveSave reservation button.
