Edit the Location of a Request

The location of a request can be edited at any time by Organizational users.

Important Notes

• Editing an address for an integrated issue does not update the location in an integrated system.

• If the address of a Request is updated and the Request is tied to an existing Work Order, the address of the Work Order will not be updated.

• If you update an address on a Request and then create a Work Order, the new Work Order will pull the new address.

• Work Order locations/addresses are not editable.

Instructions

1. Sign in to your site

2. Navigate to the Requests tab

3. Select the desired request

4. Under the map, select Edit Location

5. Type in the new address or click and drag the cursor to the new location

6. Choose to send a Public or Internal Notification of the address change

7. Select Update

8. A comment (that cannot be edited) will be generated to record the changes
