Enable or Disable a Channel

Enable a Channel

Enabling a channel will allow it to be used for Conversations. An enabled channel will display true in the Enabled column.

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Click the Profile Icon and click Manage Organization:The User Profile dropdown menu with the Manage Organization option highlighted.

  3. Select Channels from the left-hand menu:The Conversations section with the Channels menu option highlighted.

Disable a Channel

Disabling a channel will prevent it from being used for Conversations. A channel can be re-enabled at any time. A disabled channel will display false in the Enabled column.

Note:

A channel with an auto-assignee setup cannot be disabled. The auto assignee needs to be removed first.

  1. Sign in to your site
