Recreation Management Calendar Integration

You can use the Integration Hub to sync your Recreation Management calendars and events with Web Central or the HCMS.

Prerequisites

Instructions

  1. Grab an iCalendar Subscription (ICS) URL from Rec Copy calendar feed URL from Rec.

  2. Sign in to your Integration Hub

  3. Navigate to the Integrations tab Integrations menu.

  4. Select + New IntegrationNew integration.

  5. Scroll down and click the CivicRec Calendar Sync template Rec Calendar Sync tile.

  6. Some of the fields will automatically populate, add the URL for the calendar feed you copied from Recreation Management Polling URL field.

  7. The Action will auto-populate with Website (Central). You can also change it to HCMS if you would like to send events to your Web Evolve site. Rec Calendar Action.

  8. Select the applicable Application and CredentialsApplication and Credentials fields.

  9. If you are using Website (Central) as the Action:

    1. Select Calendar from the Module drop-down and choose the Category you would like to add events to Calendar module.

  10. If you are using HCMS as the Action:

    1. Select Event as the Content TypeEvent Content Type.

  11. Select Create from the Action drop-down Create action.

  12. Adjust the Short Description as needed and click NextShort Description field and Next button.

  13. Map fields as needed Map Rec fields.

  14. Click NextNext button.

  15. View an Overview and Test Instructions for your integration Test instructions.

  16. Click SaveSave button.

  17. Enable your integration using the toggle under the Status column Enabled toggle.

  18. The integration will now sync events between Recreation Management and your website Web Central calendar widget example.
