MuniPRO users can draft legislation using any publication within the code library as a starting point. This article will show you how to add, view, edit, and delete drafts.
Add a Draft
Find and review the desired code using MuniPRO Search or the code library Municipality Search
Select Add Draft (paper with lines icon) next to the part of the code you would like to use in your new draft
Ensure the checkboxes next to the desired Chapters, Sections, or Articles are checked
Note:
The currently selected portion of the code will be checked automatically. Use the blue + and - buttons to expand or collapse the list of options, and check or uncheck other articles and sections of the code as desired.
Click Next
Enter a Draft Title
Enter a Draft Note
Click Save
Your draft has been saved to your Dashboard and your computer as a Microsoft Word file
View Your Drafts
Scroll to the Recent Drafts section
Click Manage
View your saved Drafts
Edit the Title or Note of a Draft
Scroll down to the Recent Drafts section
Click Manage
Click Edit (pencil icon) next to the draft you wish to edit
Update your Draft Title, if desired
Update your Draft Note, if desired
Click Save to save your changes
Note:
Click Cancel to exit the edit function.
Your draft title and note have been edited
Delete a Draft
Scroll down to the Recent Drafts section
Select Manage
Click Delete (trash can icon) next to the draft you wish to delete
Select Delete? to confirm the deletion
Your draft has been deleted
