Minutes Snippets are reusable blocks of text that help clerks create meeting minutes more quickly and consistently. They can be used to insert common phrases, capture motions, seconds, votes, and meeting outcomes, and automatically pull motion and vote information into the minutes discussion field.
This article explains how to add, edit, reorder, and delete Minutes Snippets.

Create a Minutes Snippet
Sign in to the system if you have not already
Navigate to the User Menu, then select the Settings option:

Click the Meetings tile:

Click the Text Snippets tile:

Navigate to the Minutes Snippets section:

Click the New Minutes Snippet button:

Fill in the Add New Minutes Snippet fields:

Snippet Name (required): Enter a name for the Minutes snippet
Snippet Text: Enter the text of the snippet
Note:
You can use the paragraph formatting and text formatting tools to format the display of the snippet text as desired:

Snippet Group: Select the snippet group you wish to assign the snippet to, if desired
Click a Create option:

Create Minutes Snippet: Save the new Minutes snippet and return to the Text Snippets page
Create and Add New: Save the new Minutes snippet and immediately begin creating a new one
The Minutes snippet has been created
Edit a Minutes Snippet
Sign in to the system if you have not already
Navigate to the User Menu, then select the Settings option:

Click the Meetings tile:

Click the Text Snippets tile:

Navigate to the Minutes Snippets section:

Click the Edit tool (purple pencil icon) to the right of the Minutes snippet you wish to edit:

Update the Edit Minutes Snippet fields as desired:

Snippet Name (required): Edit the name of the Minutes snippet
Snippet Text: Edit or enter the text of the snippet

You can use the paragraph formatting and text formatting tools to format the display of the snippet text as desired:

Snippet Group: Select the snippet group you wish to assign the snippet to, if desired
Click the Save Changes button:

The Minutes snippet has been edited
Reorder Minutes Snippets
Sign in to the system if you have not already
Navigate to the User Menu, then select the Settings option:

Click the Meetings tile:

Click the Text Snippets tile:

Navigate to the Minutes Snippets section:

Click the Edit Order button:

Click and hold the grid icon next to the Minutes snippets you wish to move, then drag and drop them into the desired order:

Click the Save Changes button:

The Minutes snippets have been reordered
Delete a Minutes Snippet
Sign in to the system if you have not already
Navigate to the User Menu, then select the Settings option:

Click the Meetings tile:

Click the Text Snippets tile:

Navigate to the Minutes Snippets section:

Click the Delete tool (red trash can icon) to the right of the Minutes snippet you wish to delete:

Click the Delete Minutes Snippet button on the Delete Minutes Snippet pop-up that appears to confirm the deletion:

The Minutes snippet has been deleted
