This article will show you how to add a Photo Album to your Photo Gallery.

Add a Photo Album

Who can use this feature?

System Administrator | Owner | Publisher | Author (Submit for review)

   

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Modules and on the Content tab, select Photo Gallery:

  3. Click the Add Album button:

  4. Fill in the information fields:

    The photo gallery permissions settings include user roles and options for album management.

    • Album Title: Create a name for your album

    • Cover Photo: Upload a cover photo once you have published photos in your album

    • Permissions: Configure view, author, publisher, and owner permissions for users and groups

      • View: Viewing rights only

      • Author: Ability to create and edit content, cannot publish

      • Publisher: Can publish changes and new creations

      • Owner: Full rights to the photo album

    • Default Credit: Enter the default photo credit applied to photos in the album

    • Right-click Protection: Check this box to prevent visitors from right-clicking photos in the album

  5. Select a Save option:

    The photo gallery interface shows highlighted options to save changes or publish the album.

    • Save Changes: Save changes without publishing the album

    • Save and Publish: Save changes and publish the album for public viewing


Modify a Photo Album

Who can use this feature?

System Administrator | Owner | Publisher | Author (Can only modify unpublished albums)

   

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Modules and on the Content tab, select Photo Gallery:

  3. Select your desired Photo Album:

  4. Click the Actions button:

  5. Select the Modify option:

  6. Make modifications, as needed:

    • Album Title: Edit the name of your album

    • Cover Photo: Upload or change a cover photo, once you have published photos in your album

    • Permissions: Assign or change group permissions

      • View: Viewing rights only

      • Author: Ability to create and edit content, cannot publish

      • Publisher: Can publish changes and new creations

      • Owner: Full rights to the photo album

    • Default Credit: Assign default photo credits to every picture in the album

    • Right-click Protection: Disable the ability for visitors to right-click on a picture

      Note:

      This means that they will not be able to save pictures to their computer.

  7. Click the Save Changes button:

Important Note:

You have to unpublish an album and delete all of its pictures before you can delete it.

Who can use this feature?

System Administrator | Owner

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Modules and on the Content tab, select Photo Gallery:

  3. Select the album you want to delete:

  4. Bulk delete all the pictures in your album.

  5. Click the Actions button:

  6. Select Unpublish:

  7. Click Actions again and select Delete:

  8. On the confirmation window, click the OK button to confirm:
