Add or Update Privacy Policy

The site privacy page is pre-populated on all Municipal Websites Central sites. To set up the Privacy Policy that is displayed when users create a new account or if you want to edit the content of this page, please view the Modify Site Properties article.

Best Practices recommend either a link that appears on every page of your site or by navigating to web address/site/privacy.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Determine the name of the Quick Link category used in your site footer

    Note:

    View the Editing Quick Links on the Footer article for instructions to determine the name of the quick link category, if necessary.

  3. Edit the Quick Link category

  4. Add a Quick Link that links to the web address /site/privacy:The Link text boxes highlighted in the Quick Link module's Content tab.
