Add Permissions to Multiple Pages at Once

Through the Group Administration module, you can create a Back-End or Front-End group to assign permissions to multiple pages at one time. You can also set permissions on the Properties tab of a page.

Who can use this feature?

System Administrator

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Modules and on the Site Tools tab, select Group Administration:The Modules drop-down menu expanded, on the Site Tools tab, with the Group Administration option highlighted.

  3. Select an existing group or create a new group:The Group Administration screen with the Approvers group highlighted for selection.

  4. Navigate to the Pages tab:A selected group on the Pages tab with options to add permissions through pages.

  5. Select the pages you want to assign permissions to:The Pages tab of a group with the checkboxes for adding permissions through pages highlighted for selection.

  6. Click Save or Save and Publish:The Add Back-End Group screen with the Save and Publish button highlighted.

    • Save: Saves the current Group as a draft

    • Save and Publish: Immediately activates the permissions and group
