Assign User Permissions

This article will show you how to assign permissions in User Administration. Permissions determine what content users of your website can access and what actions those users can perform. Permission levels can be found in our Standard Permissions article.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Modules and on the Site Tools tab, select User Administration:

  3. Use the Search to find your user:The Back-End Users tab with the Search field and button highlighted.

  5. Scroll to the Back-End Groups and Front-End Groups sections and check the boxes next to the applicable permissions:The User Administration screen with a Back-End Group permissions checkbox highlighted.

  6. Scroll up and click Save:The Modify User screen with the Save button highlighted.
