Review AI Content Advisor SEO and AEO Recommendations

Prev Next

The AI Content Advisor SEO and AEO Recommendations tool offers suggestions to improve how your content appears in search results and conversational AI tools. This article will show you how to review its recommendations.

Important Notes

  • You must have the AI Content Advisor enabled to review SEO and AEO recommendations.

  • Make intentional updates to your page. Frequent fine-tuning can delay how search engines and AI systems evaluate your page content.

  • Recommendations are made by AI which can make mistakes. Validate your changes before applying them.

Generative AI Acknowledgement

CivicPlus has an AI acknowledgement notice in place for all products that include AI features. When an AI feature is first enabled, each user is prompted to review and accept the notice before using the tool. This acknowledgement only needs to be completed once across all CivicPlus products.

If Municipal Websites Evolve is the first CivicPlus product you are accessing AI features in, you will be prompted to acknowledge the use of generative AI the first time you click the SEO/AEO Recommendations button. Clicking the icon opens an “AI User Agreement” message. You will need to review the disclaimer, check the “I have read and agree to the Terms of Use” box, and click Confirm to continue. Your acknowledgment is recorded in the CivicPlus Account Service and can be reviewed or revoked at any time.

The AI User Agreement, which must be acknowledged before an AI tool can be used for the first time.

Revoke Your Acknowledgement

Revoking your generative AI acknowledgement will immediately remove your access to all AI features, including the AI Content Advisor. For step-by-step instructions on how to view or revoke your acknowledgment, see the AI Policy Agreement article.
