This article discusses how to upload image/file assets and add them to your Web Evolve site. You can also add and manage Assets in the HCMS. Learn about the supported file types.
Add an Asset
Who can use this feature?
System Administrator | Owner | Publisher | Author (submit for approval)
Navigate to your page
Select the Content tab and click Add Asset:
Select the Permission Set that can manage the content:
(Optional) Select Categories to associate with the asset:
Click or drag files into the box:
Adjust the asset fields, as needed:
File Name: The name of the file
Decorative (Images Only): Check to mark the image as decorative. Decorative images will use alt text (alt=“”) and are un-editable. View the Decorative Images article from the Web Accessibility Initiative.
Alt Text (Images Only): Add or modify the alternative text (Alt text is required to publish the asset)
Tags: Add or remove tags to easily identify the asset in search functions
Metadata: View or add Metadata for the asset
Click the arrow next to Save and select Save and Change to Published:
Note:
If you wish to save the asset in Draft mode, click the Save button.
Choose the published options and click Confirm:
Scheduling: Choose to publish the content immediately or schedule to publish on a future date.
Notify Your Users: Choose whether or not to notify users who have subscribed to a list associated with the selected HCMS Category.
The asset will now be displayed in the left panel. Drag and drop it on your page:
Configure the Widget and content options, as needed:
Click the Save Changes button at the top of the page:
Modify an Asset

Click inside the widget with the assets you want to modify:
Click Actions and then Modify next to the asset:
Make your desired changes:
Replace File: Select to upload a new version of the file
Permission Set: The Permission Set that can manage the content
Categories: Select Categories to associate with the asset

Note: To change the status, click the drop-down arrow next to the Save button:
Delete an Asset
Navigate to your page
Select the Content tab and find the asset you wish to remove:
Click Actions and then Delete next to the asset:
Click Delete on the warning pop-up:
