Add a New Constituent in the Call Taker Interface

While inputting a new request on the Call Taker form, a new Constituent can be added without leaving the page and losing the information.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. To begin a new request, click New, then Request:The orange, rectangular New button and the Request option in the dropdown menu.

  3. In the Submit for Constituent section, select the search bar to view the Add New Constituent option:

  4. Input the Constituent Name. The Email, Phone Number, and Address fields are optional:The Add New Constituent screen with the Name, Email, and Phone Number fields highlighted.

    Notes:

    • If a Constituent has more than one email address, the form will ask which email address the Constituent wants tied to the request.

    • We recommend adding an email address so the resident can get updates about their request. If only a name is entered, the Call Taker will see a message asking to add an email address to the constituent. The request can still be submitted without an email.

    On the Submit for Constituent screen, the information for a newly added constituent is displayed.

  5. Select Save:The Add New Constituent screen with the Save button highlighted.
