Add and Manage Templated Messages

Templated Messages are a good tool to address routine correspondence that generally requires the same response every time. When selected, the message you typed will automatically appear in the Reply section of your Conversation.

Add a Templated Message

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Click the Profile Icon and select Manage Organization:The User Profile dropdown menu with the Manage Organization option highlighted.

  3. Select Templated Messages from the left-hand menu:The Templated Messages Menu option found on the Manage Organization page.

  4. Click Add Templated Message:The Add Templated Message button on the Templated Messages screen.

  5. Complete the fields:The Add Templated Message screen with the Name and Body fields highlighted.

    • Name: The name of the Templated Message

      Note:

      It is recommended that you name a Templated Message for its intended use (such as Holiday Closure, Thank You, or Animal Requests).

    • Body: The content of the Templated Message

  6. Check the Enabled checkbox:The Enabled Checkbox filled and highlighted on the Add Templated Message screen.

    Note:

    This box must be checked for the Templated Message to be used.

  7. Click Create:The Add Templated Message screen with the Create button highlighted.


Edit a Templated Message

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Click the Profile Icon and select Manage Organization:The User Profile dropdown menu with the Manage Organization option highlighted.

  3. Select Templated Messages from the left-hand menu:The Templated Messages Menu option found on the Manage Organization page.

  4. Click the Action Menu and then Edit for your desired Templated Message:The Templated Messages screen with the Action menu expanded and the Edit option highlighted.

  5. Make the necessary edits:The Edit Templated Message screen with the Body field highlighted.

    • Name: The name of the Templated Message

      Note:

      It is recommended that you name a Templated Message for its intended use (such as Holiday Closure, Thank You, or Animal Requests).

    • Body: The content of the Templated Message

  6. Ensure that the Enabled checkbox is checked:The Edit Templated Message screen with the Enabled checkbox filled and highlighted.

    Note:

    This box must be checked for the Templated Message to be used.

  7. Click Update:The Edit Templated Message screen with the Update button highlighted.


Delete a Templated Message

Note:

A deleted Templated Message cannot be recovered. A deleted Templated Message must be recreated. View the Add a Templated Message section for more information.

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Click the Profile Icon and click Manage Organization:The User Profile dropdown menu with the Manage Organization option highlighted.

  3. Select Templated Messages from the left-hand menu:The Templated Messages Menu option found on the Manage Organization page.

  4. Click the Action Menu and then Delete for the desired Templated Message:The Templated Messages screen with the Action menu expanded and the Delete option highlighted.

  5. Click OK on the confirmation pop-up:The Delete Templated Message confirmation pop-up window with the OK button highlighted.
