Organize Request Categories

Request categories form the foundation of what kind of requests your organization will receive. This article will show you how to alphabetize or manually change the order of your request categories and questions.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to the Profile menu, then select Manage Organization:The User Profile dropdown menu with the Manage Organization option highlighted.

  3. Select Request Categories:The Requests section with the Request Categories option highlighted.

  4. To alphabetize your request categories, select Order A-Z:The Request Categories by Agency screen with the Order A-Z link highlighted.

  5. The page will refresh, and you will see all of the Request Categories in that agency in alphabetical order

  6. To manually move a category or question, select the Actions menu (three-dot icon) and click Move Up or Move Down:The Actions menu expanded for a category with the Move Up and Move Down options highlighted.

  7. The page will refresh, and you will see that item in the new position
