Subscriptions

Subscriptions keep members in the loop. When a member of an organization interacts with a request or work order, they are added as a subscriber and will receive email updates when a comment or a status change is made to a request or work order.

The following subscription options are available:

Subscribing to a Request Automatically

Members also become subscribers automatically whenever any of the following actions are taken on a request or work order if they aren't already subscribed.

The actions taken on a Request that will result in an automatic subscription are:

  • Creating a Request

  • Recategorizing

  • Changing the due date

  • Changing the priority

  • Adding public comment

  • Adding internal comment

  • Changing the status

  • Merging duplicate requests (subscribed to unarchived requests)

  • Assignment

  • Mentioned by another member using the @ symbol

On work orders, these actions include:

  • Creating a Work Order

  • Adding a comment

  • Making modifications

  • Adding photo

  • Adding a used resource

  • Changing status

  • Changing due

  • Mentioned by another member using the @ symbol

  • Subscription to an existing request subscribes members to child work orders
