League is one of many Activity Types available in the Activities module. In League Management you can manage teams, coaches, and players, create matchups and schedules, input game results, and view league standings.
Important Note:
Before utilizing the League Management tab, you must first create a league activity and league sessions.
Create League Activity & Session
Create an Activity for the League
Note: Ensure you set Activity Type as League.
Note: Configure League Settings on the Advanced tab:
Registration Type: Choose between Team or Individual
Note:
Configure League Settings on the Advanced tab:
Require Roster Entry: Allows a team manager and coaches to invite players to their roster
Note: This setting is only visible if you choose Team as the Registration Type. The ability to send invites happens in the Coach Portal.
For the League Portal to appear on a public user's account, you must navigate to the Schedule tab in the session and Create a League Schedule for a League Session.
Instructions
Navigate to Activities > League Management
Expand a League
Click View next to a session to access the roster and the waiting list
Select Access League Management (basketball icon) next to a league session
Navigate through the tabs to manage the session
Participants
Name: View the name of the participant
Team: Displays the team the participant is on
Participation: Lists if they are a Registrant or Participant
Status: Shows if the participant is Verified, Unverified, or has Paid
Parent: The parent of the participant, if available
Phone: The contact number for the participant or parent
Email: The email for the participant or parent
Teams
Create New Team: Click to create a new team
Team Name: Click into the field to edit the name of a team
Manager: View the registered Manager of the team
Coaches: Assign coaches to a team
Division: Select the appropriate Division from the drop-down list
Divisions
Create New Division: Select to add a division to the league
Division Name: View, edit, or remove divisions
Assessments
Edit League Assessment Criteria: Apply Player Assessments
Note:
You can Create Player Assessment Criteria in the Player Assessments tab.
Draft
Auto-Assign Remaining Players: Auto-assign players to teams
Manual Draft: Manually draft players to teams
Game Schedule
Step 1: Matchups:
Step 2: Time Slots: Configure Schedule
Filters/Highlighters: Edit League Filters/Highlighters
Settings: Edit League Settings
Home Team/Visitor Team: Replace matchups or Delete matchups
Game Results
Score: Input Game Results
Tournaments
New Tournament: Select to create a new tournament
